Nebraska's Night Sky.

Dan Glomski is our resident expert on all things in the sky. His enthusiasm is contagious and it has caused me to look upwards and start to learn what I can about astro-photography. Here's my first stab at it and I have to say I'm quite pleased. I'm sure Dan will be posting some of his work at the Nebraska Star Party at a later date. Also, stay tuned for some more star viewing opportunities at the Center later this fall. Here's a link to more photos like this

  2. Hi Aaron.

I've been wanting to do this for some time. I just never had everything come together to get it done. Weather, time, opportunity general busyness. The milky way was just brilliant the last two nights, so ready or not, out I went. I've learned a lot in the process and want to do more of this type of photography.

  3. I always suspected that you were wondering around in the dark. Now I have proof. Nice job on this photo, print it, hang it. Have you tried a longer exposure time with lower ISO? Take care and say hi to everyone. Randy
